New climate change tool for coasts and seas

The goal is to achieve the best possible adaptation for coasts and oceans. The Climate Service Center Germany (GERICS), an institution of the Helmholtz-Zentrum Hereon, and GEO Blue Planet, supported by Mercator Ocean International, have developed an innovative tool. It is designed to help countries develop and implement plans to protect their coasts and oceans from the effects of climate change. It is part of the formal guidance and online library of the United Nations Climate Change Convention (UNFCCC). Read the whole article here
